Internet is becoming a must-have home service. There are so many people that rely on the internet for work, or email for communication, that not having internet in your home can be a big setback.
High speed internet, though, can be very expensive. Luckily, Virginians can turn to another form of internet that has become a little outdated, dialup. Dialup internet is going to be much cheaper than high speed, but will still offer the capability to check email and catch up with work.
People PC has a 30-day free trial period available for anyone, which will allow you to see if the speed will suit your needs. If so, all you're looking at is a mere $5.50 per month for access. Yep, that's all dialup internet costs anymore. There are other companies offering similar pricing, like NetZero and even AT&T. Most of these companies' plans in the $5 range are for their slowest rate of speed, but it's likely that you can find the fastest form of dialup internet for around $15 per month.
Dialup internet is still an extremely viable option for the people of Virginia. Because it the older, slower technology to access the internet, it will cost significantly less than its high-speed counterpart.

I dont think so many people use the dial up internet service, beacause now a days high speed internet and the dial up internet dosent have that much price differance . According to me very few migh have the dial up internet service.
Definitely!!! Broadband can be anywhere between 10 to 100 times quicker than dial up. Dial up is like the grandfather of Internet connectivity. Many advances have been made since it's inception. Broadband is also a permanent connection and much more efficient at downloading things. Broadband can also be about 10 times faster than dsl.

You can get on the Internet using dial-up, but it won't be very fast. Most dial up accounts only cost about 10 dollars now.
