Compare Rates on Phone Service in New Hampshire

Average Cost
Comcast $109
Verizon $48

Taking time to stay in-touch with friends and family is incredibly important in today's fast-paced environment. Although emailing is the new method for maintaining contact, an old-fashioned phone call is a great way to keep up-to-date with loved ones. Many people, especially those middle-aged and older, still have a great appreciation for phone and in-person contact over email and chatting. Furthermore, while many have turned to highly-mobile cellular phones there is still a large group of people making great use of traditional land-line phone service. In fact, for many it's a much better choice than cell service. People such as the elderly or families require home phones for their convenience around the house and the security they provide. The cost of land-line phone service is also advantageous in comparison to cellular service.

If you are looking to stay in touch the old-fashioned way in New Hampshire, companies like Comcast and Verizon offer reliable land-line phone service at great rates. It is important to find the best provider for your area and your needs.

Is it better to have traditional phone service or a cell phone for your only phone? Post by anonymous in , Post Your Reply

This is a great question and with each person the answer will change. My personal opinion is home phones are a waste of time since the only time you can answer it is when you are home. Cell phones you can use anywhere and if you have a good data plan you will not worry about minutes. The only plus I could see from a landline is using it as a number to give to people that you do not want to give your cell number out to. If this is not an issue to you then there really is no point in spending an extra $25 a month.

Can you do work-at-home customer service jobs with your cell phone or must you have home phone service? Post by in , Post Your Reply

You will need a landline phone to work as a customer service representative at home. Most companies will require you to have this in order to apply with their company but some of them will reimburse you for the charges. You can find good deals with AT&T.
