The pace of life in our modern world is similar to a ball rolling down a hill it continues to pick up speed every moment. Nearly everything has become high-speed, from our cars to getting dinner to our internet connections. This is especially true in Las Vegas! Yet while the masses embrace this and assist in speeding things up, there are many people that aren't in such a hurry. You will see them driving casually down country roads, eating nice meals with friends, or clicking Connect on their computers. Yes, many people still use and benefit from dial-up internet service.
For those too young to remember, dial-up internet used to be the only affordable means to connect to the World Wide Web. It uses your existing phone line to connect only when needed. Although the speed is much slower than high-speed, the cost is usually much less expensive. And for those still getting out and enjoying life, dial-up service is about all that's needed!
