The prices depend more on what services you are looking for. If you are just wanting a small family plan with shared minutes and no other services, then bundle plans would be cheaper. If you want all of the internet services and text messaging, then individual plans may be cheaper. Again, it is all dependent on what services you want with the plan.

SBC has recently run a promotion offering a bundled phone and DSL service for $29.99 for the period of one year and then $49.99 thereafter.
