    You should be able to contact the company that is garnishing your wages and provid them with your bankruptcy papers to stop the garnishment. Legally they have to and should not have started a garnishment if they were included in the bankruptcy filing.

    This is actually not a state issue, but rather a Federal one, one that is yet to be fully cleared up. You should study the Visitation Rights Enforcement Act signed by President Clinton for more information. If you do not currently have visitation rights, you can at least petition for them.
