It's The Muppet Show!
Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and a cast of hundreds of characters make up the population of Muppets. The Muppets are the brainchild of Jim Henson , and one of the first appearances was on Sesame Street, where Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and Kermit first performed. From Sesame Street, the popular characters expanded to its own show – The Muppet Show and eventually a series of movies.

The Muppet Show
The Muppet Show debuted in 1976 and continued on a weekly basis until 1981, when Henson decided to concentrate on other projects. During its 5 year run, the show had 120 episodes, however re-runs on cable television are still available. The format of the show was similar from week to week. Kermit was the show’s host and ran the show. Each week, they would have a special guest, who would either sing or act in one of their sketches. Generally each week something would happen behind the scenes, and either Fozzie, Rizzo or Gonzo would be trying to solve the problem. But usually it would be Kermit, at the voice of reason, who would have the answer.
